Work has kept me pretty busy these past few months and while I am not complaining it has left little time for much else. I think all I do is work, ride my bike, eat, sleep, repeat. However, I got to take a break from it all and host my sister's bridal shower. That's right, a weekend without a long ride or a long run or work and it felt great. My sister's wedding is in less than two months - it doesn't seem too long ago we were just dress shopping.
Sometimes in law school I dreamed about dropping out to be a party planner. I absolutely love to plan parties - well, anything really - I am a planner through and through. Drives my spontaneous husband crazy. Anyway, the key to an awesome party is a theme and for my sister's shower the theme was "bridal bling." What can I say, she is a girl after my own heart. I had a blast decorating in hot pink, crystals and animal prints.
The shower was held at a local vineyard restaurant. The grounds are beautiful and I would have loved to be outside but the rainy weather kept us inside this weekend. We had a blast nonetheless and Lisa was showered with lots of love. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
