After studying and recovering (again) from the California State Bar I can officially say I'm back and can move forward with 2011. Studying for that thing is like being in a time warp, the world goes on around you and yet you lose sense of all time and reality. Honestly, the day after the bar I sat down to catch up with what had been going on in the world for the last two months. So sad.
After taking all of December off to heal, I started running again in January. Nothing big - just trying to ease back into it with some easy 3 and 4 milers. I also logged a few miles on the bike. February came and went. I got NO running or cycling in as I was in panic mode with studying. The good in all this is that I think the time allowed the tendinitis in my foot to heal completely and while my back is and will always a pain in the butt (literally), it is feeling as good as it can feel.
Of course what do I do as soon as the bar is over? Plan a training schedule!! I have some races and rides that are coming up right around the corner and have no time waste. I have updated my race schedule with the events I am for sure completing this year and have also added a new tab to house my current training plan. I promise a post in the near future about how and what I used to create it.
Not only am I looking forward to getting back to blogging but also to reading again. I haven't forgotten about you!
I must run - literally - I have some speedwork to do tonight - but I promise not to be gone so long this time!
